CMRL begins work on tunnel to link Nungambakkam and Sterling Road stations

Tunnelling starts near KNK Road. The machines will mostly drill under Uthamar Gandhi Road, Valluvar Kottam Road, and some buildings. Officials say the tunnel will be completed by next January
