Dollar Stuck Near 162 Yen Despite Fresh Intervention Warning

The dollar was expected to stay in a 161.50-162.50 yen band Thursday in directionless trading amid a tug of war between fading speculation of U.S. rate increases and geopolitical safe-haven demand for the greenback, said Sony Financial Group.
