Ethiopia records historic $10.7bn export earnings as reform push boosts dollar inflows

Ethiopia recorded its highest export revenue in history, earning more than $10.7 billion in the 2025/26 fiscal year as Africa’s fifth-largest economy pushes to strengthen foreign exchange inflows after years of dollar shortages.
