Kingston mayor welcomes high-speed rail pitch amid widespread opposition

The mayor of Kingston is welcoming the prospect of the Alto prospect stopping in his city, particularly if it follows the Highway 401 corridor, which could ease concerns raised by other municipal governments in Eastern Ontario.
