TMC leader Chandrima Bhattacharya steps down from all posts

Senior Trinamool Congress leader Chandrima Bhattacharya has resigned from all party posts, just a month after being appointed the party’s West Bengal president. She said she could no longer work as she felt Mamata Banerjee no longer had confidence in her. TMC leader Kunal Ghosh, however, called the resignation a “pre-planned move” and accused her of deserting the party.
